Custom Laravel Shopify Multi-Step Checkout

I need my existing Shopify store to hand shoppers over to a Laravel-powered custom checkout flow and then return the completed order data back to Shopify. The focus is a smooth, secure multi-step checkout, built in Laravel, that perfectly mirrors our brand’s look and feel—fonts, colours, spacing, icons, everything.

Key objectives
• Pull the cart, customer and shipping data from Shopify in real time.
• Walk the user through our tailored multi-step screens (address, shipping method, payment, confirmation).
• Push the finished order—including any edits made during checkout—back to Shopify so fulfilment continues there as usual.

Design & UX
The checkout must match our current storefront style exactly; I will provide brand guidelines, Figma files and assets. Mobile responsiveness is essential.

Technical notes
• Shopify Storefront API or Admin API for cart and order sync.
• Laravel 10 (or latest LTS) for the checkout app, using Blade or your preferred component system.
• Stripe and Apple Pay are already set up, so the payment step should integrate those gateways first; architecture must stay open for additional gateways later.
• CSRF protection, rate limiting and PCI-compliant handling for payment tokens are mandatory.

Acceptance criteria
1. User completes a full purchase through the Laravel flow without leaving the branded experience.
2. Orders, line items and customer info appear in Shopify Admin instantly after payment.
3. All steps load in under 1.5 s on 4G and pass Lighthouse performance audits (>90).
4. Code is clean, well-commented and committed to a private Git repo I will provide.
