I’m settling into Kuala Lumpur and want a clear, practical roadmap to expand my circle. The focus is on casual meetups that feel natural—think coffee catch-ups, laid-back social events and outdoor activity groups (hiking clubs, weekend cycling, park workouts).

Your assignment is to investigate and curate the most relevant options in the city:

• Identify active communities, recurring gatherings, and platforms where people arrange casual meetups.
• Spotlight outdoor-focused groups first, then branch into general social events that keep things informal.
• Note essential details for each suggestion: typical crowd size and age range, vibe, frequency, sign-up or membership steps, costs, and direct links or contact handles (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Meetup, Eventbrite, etc.).
• Include any unwritten etiquette or local tips that help a newcomer blend in smoothly.

Deliverables
1. A concise guide (Google Doc or PDF) summarising at least 15 well-vetted opportunities, organised by theme.
2. A companion spreadsheet with quick-reference columns for name, category, cost, location, meeting frequency, and contact link.
3. A brief “first-week action plan” suggesting which three meetups to try immediately and why they’re the best fit for my casual style.

First-hand knowledge of Kuala Lumpur’s social scene is essential so the recommendations feel genuine and up-to-date.
