I need a straightforward service that quietly records where a phone has been and lets me pull that history back on demand. The same core codebase—or two lightweight wrappers around a shared API—has to run on both iOS and Android so the behaviour is identical no matter the handset.
Every record must include:
• a precise timestamp (to the second)
• the raw GPS coordinates
• a human-readable address resolved from those coordinates
The capture interval will be configurable; storing points every X minutes is fine as long as the data come through in chronological order. I’m happy with a simple REST or GraphQL endpoint for upload and retrieval, and SQLite or any small cloud datastore is acceptable for persistence as long as you explain the choice. The final hand-off should include well-commented source code, a short README that shows how to compile or integrate each mobile module, and a sample request that proves the data format is exactly as outlined above.
