Read a scientific paper from the ACL-25 (https://agents4science.stanford.edu/accepted-papers.html) conference and write a 1-page review that includes the following components:
• A brief summary of what has been done in the paper, such as what the AI system is about,
what aspects of the AI system are evaluated, and what are the main findings.
• A detailed critique with both positive and negative comments. For instance, are there any flaws (e.g., human/sampling bias and cherry-picking) of evaluation design and methodologies, do you think the results are reproducible, and does the experiment carry out appropriate significance tests, and what are the positive aspects (e.g. representativeness of datasets and thoroughness of analyses) of design and methodologies?
• A conclusion that summarizes your comments, together with a discussion as to which aspects you think could be improved in future work.
• Are there any questions you would like to ask the paper authors if given the opportunity?
Complete the reviewing task, and your review includes the four aforementioned components.
The questions and discussion are meaningful. Additionally, your review is critical, e.g. that you spotlight 1-2 weaknesses.
Your review should be substantial, e.g., that you identify 3-5 weaknesses. Your questions and discussion are creative.
You should submit a 1-page review (11 front size, 1.15 line spacing, Times New Roman, 25.4mm
margins on 4 sides).
Tips and examples of similar review papers are attached.
