Criclive.in needs a focused refresh that makes the site feel light-fast and effortless on every device, with special attention to mobile users. Right now our pages drag on first load, hurting both engagement and our search visibility. I’m looking for a developer who can dive into the existing frontend and backend, pinpoint the bottlenecks, and deliver measurable speed gains without sacrificing any of the live-score functionality fans depend on.
What matters most
• First-contentful paint and total blocking time should hit green Core Web Vitals on 4G mobile.
• Navigation, menus, links and score widgets must stay fully responsive and touch-friendly.
• Any changes you make should keep SEO best practices intact or improve on them (structured data, clean semantic markup, lazy-loaded assets, server-side caching, etc.).
Key tasks
- Audit current codebase, hosting setup and database queries to surface what slows mobile page loads.
- Refactor or replace heavy scripts, unused CSS, large images and third-party calls.
- Implement best-fit performance tactics (HTTP/2, CDN, critical CSS, deferred JS, compression, image optimisation).
- Fine-tune backend endpoints that power live scores so they respond reliably under traffic spikes.
- Hand off a concise report showing before/after Lighthouse scores and the exact optimisations applied.
Stack flexibility
The site is built with standard web technologies; I’m open to frameworks or tooling you feel will have the greatest impact so long as the public URL structure stays unchanged.
Acceptance
Your work is complete once the homepage and a sample match page consistently score 90+ on mobile Lighthouse and the interface feels snappy on mid-range Android devices over cellular data.
If this sounds like the kind of performance challenge you enjoy, let’s talk and set milestones.
