I need urgent assistance with understanding the legality and tax implications of working in Costa Rica while there as a tourist.

I hold a UK passport and am a freelancer for a UK company.

Key Areas of Focus:
- The legality of undertaking remote work for a UK employer which visiting as a tourist.
- The arrangement does not create any additional or unintended employment, social security or other employment-related obligations for the company in the UK or Costa Rica.
- The arrangement does not create, or is not reasonably expected to create, any corporate tax liability, permanent establishment or other taxable presence for the company in Costa Rica as a result of my carrying out services there.
- The arrangement does not create any additional withholding, reporting or other tax obligations for the company in Costa Rica, including where I remain contracted by and paid by the company in the UK.
