I’m looking for a thorough, professional security check on our internal company network and the devices connected to it. The primary objective is to uncover weak points before anyone else can exploit them, so I need someone who can dig deep, document every vulnerability, and lay out clear, prioritized remediation steps.

You’ll receive access to a segmented test environment that mirrors production, along with any architecture diagrams or configuration files you consider useful. I’m open to your preferred toolset—Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Wireshark, custom scripts—so long as the methodology is transparent and best-practice driven.

Deliverables
• Executive-level summary highlighting critical risks and recommended next actions
• Technical report detailing each finding (CVSS score, proof-of-concept, affected hosts)
• Actionable remediation plan, ranked by severity and effort
• Follow-up call or written Q&A to clarify findings

Acceptance criteria
• All network segments and key device classes assessed
• No automated scan artifacts left on hosts
• Reports delivered in PDF and editable formats
• Recommendations feasible within our current tech stack

If you have recent experience hardening corporate networks and can turn around a concise, insightful assessment, I’d like to hear how you would approach this engagement and your estimated timeframe.
