Our bank is moving to a brand-new core platform and I need an organisational change specialist who can keep the business running smoothly while we modernise.
What I need you to do
• Design and run a complete change management programme built on a recognised framework such as Prosci / ADKAR.
• Map current and future-state processes, re-engineer where gaps appear, and publish clear RACI charts that sit neatly inside the PMO governance model.
• Drive User Acceptance Testing readiness: schedule cycles, brief business testers, and translate defects back into actionable change tasks.
• Coach line managers and front-office staff so adoption sticks and the culture shift feels natural.
• Protect day-to-day operations during cut-over and the first-month stabilisation window, adjusting the plan in real time when issues surface.
Key things I will look for
– Demonstrable success delivering similar change in banking or wider financial services.
– Hands-on skill with workflow mapping tools (Visio, Signavio, Aris, or similar) and solid BPR technique.
– Confident communicator who can create crisp training materials, run workshops, and report to senior execs without drama.
Deliverables I expect
1. Approved change management plan with milestones and KPIs.
2. End-to-end process maps (current vs. future state) and accompanying RACI matrix.
3. UAT readiness checklist and post-test action log.
4. Cut-over playbook plus a 30-day stabilisation dashboard.
5. Final lessons-learned report and adoption metrics.
If modernisation of a core banking environment excites you and you can point to at least two successful projects where you kept disruption to a minimum, let’s talk.
