JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Consumer Insights team, this role provides data‑driven insights to support the planning, selling, and evaluation of marketing campaigns for CPG clients across in‑store and digital channels. The Consumer Insights Specialist works closely with internal stakeholders, particularly the Sales team, to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Key responsibilities include:
Analyze multiple data sources, such as POS and syndicated data, to inform campaign planning and assess post‑campaign performance
Serve as the liaison with external research vendors, ensuring timely delivery and clear interpretation of program results
Develop client‑ready analyses and presentations with clear insights and recommendations
Support Sales team with data‑driven insights for client meetings, pitches, and sell‑in
Respond to ad hoc insight requests and act as a data resource for internal stakeholders

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS, Business degree preferred, quantitative or analytic degrees a plus.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), retail, shopper marketing, or marketing analytics
Experience working with and presenting insights to internal stakeholders and/or clients is a strong asset.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, formulas, pivot tables)
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create clear, compelling, client‑ready presentations
A quantitative background (statistics, programming, BI/Tableau) is desirable
OTHER REQUIREMENTS OR PREFERRED SKILLS
Minimal travel – position is remote.
Proven record of delivering quality results on time
Ability to use logic to analyze data to draw conclusions and convey or provide advice or consultation
The ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively both verbally and in written communication
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others
EXPERIENCE: 1-3 Years
LOCATION: Remote, Preferred in Greater Toronto Area
