Hiring: Freelance Consent Management Expert – India DPDP Compliance

We are building a Consent Management Platform (CMP) to help organizations achieve compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

We are looking for an experienced freelancer with strong, hands-on expertise in consent management, privacy technology, and DPDP compliance to help design and develop a robust, scalable consent management solution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop a consent management platform aligned with India’s DPDP requirements.
- Implement consent collection, recording, tracking, withdrawal, and preference management.
- Develop consent lifecycle workflows and auditable consent records.
- Implement consent notices, purpose-specific consent, and communication consent management.
- Design APIs and SDKs for integration with websites, mobile applications, CRM, and enterprise systems.
- Support consent dashboards, reporting, audit trails, and compliance evidence.
- Ensure secure consent data handling, role-based access control, and tenant isolation.
- Help translate DPDP requirements into practical product features and workflows.

Required Expertise:

- Proven experience building or implementing consent management platforms.
- Strong understanding of India’s DPDP Act, 2023, and applicable rules.
- Hands-on experience with consent lifecycle management and privacy technology.
- Experience integrating consent platforms with enterprise applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of GDPR and other privacy frameworks is an added advantage.
- Experience with production-grade SaaS products is preferred.
