I’m rolling out a new Wide Area Network and need a skilled network engineer who can take charge of the hardware side: rack-mounting, cabling, initial firmware loads, interface mapping and full device configuration. The logical design is already settled, so the priority is to translate that plan into a clean, production-ready build.

You’ll be working with enterprise-grade routers, edge firewalls and layer-3 switches. Expect to:

• Apply the agreed addressing scheme, routing protocols and VLAN structure directly on the gear
• Integrate ISP hand-offs, test throughput and fail-over paths
• Harden the devices with best-practice security settings and up-to-date images
• Produce a concise hand-over package—running configs, topology diagram and rollback steps—so future maintenance is straightforward

Everything can be staged in a lab first, then cut over during a coordinated window. Remote access via console server and out-of-band link is already in place; onsite hands are available for physical moves if you’re working remotely.

If you’ve delivered smooth WAN hardware deployments before and can document what you do as you go, let’s talk.
