Process audits for Irish SMEs — the first stage of every engagement is a set of structured stakeholder and employee interviews (30–45 min each) to understand how a business actually operates day-to-day. We're looking for an occasional, on-call interviewer to conduct some of these on our behalf, following our own structured template and method exactly — this is not open-ended market research, it's a defined, repeatable process you'll be trained on.
This is not steady work. It's an as-needed arrangement — you'll be called on only when a client engagement has interviews that can't be scheduled during our own availability. Could be zero requests some months, a handful of interviews in others.
What the work involves:
Conduct 30–45 min interviews (video call, recorded with the interviewee's permission) with SME staff — leadership/stakeholders using one template, employees/end-users using another (both provided)
Follow the provided Interview Conduct Guide closely: listen 80%, talk 20%, dig for the real friction points with "why/how" follow-ups, never pitch solutions during the call
Write up each interview afterward in a specified format: the top 3–5 things the person flagged, in their own words
Flag anything from an interview that contradicts or adds nuance to a previous one — that's specifically useful to us
All interviews happen during the client's business hours (this is exactly the coverage gap we need filled)
What we provide:
The interview templates, the conduct guide, and a short briefing call before each engagement — you don't need prior AI/consulting knowledge, just strong interviewing and writing skills.
Confidentiality:
Interviews involve a client's real internal operations and problems. An NDA is required before any engagement starts.
Interviews can be run remotely via Zoom, Teams or phone — whichever secures the best participation rate. If you already have experience questioning C-level leaders, teasing out operational pain points and turning qualitative data into actionable findings, you’ll fit right in.
