Comprehensive WordPress Site Overhaul

My WordPress site needs a full, end-to-end refresh. I want the layout modernised, pages loading noticeably faster, and every plugin, theme and core file kept fully patched so security is never an after-thought. Above all, I’m aiming to elevate functionality—anything that streamlines the user journey or adds smart features is on the table.

Here’s what I expect you to handle:

• Design & layout – refine the theme, adjust templates, and polish the UI/UX so the site looks clean on all devices.
• Performance & speed – implement caching, image optimisation, code minification and database cleanup to achieve sub-2-second loads and a 90+ score on Google PageSpeed Insights.
• Security & updates – harden WordPress with best-practice measures (firewalls, brute-force protection, secure login), audit existing plugins, remove bloat, and set up automated, version-controlled updates.

I’m comfortable with widely used optimisation and security tools such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Sucuri, Wordfence, Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields—pick what best suits the job. Custom PHP or JavaScript tweaks are welcome where plugins fall short.

Deliverables are complete once the refreshed site is live on my hosting, fully tested across desktop and mobile, and I receive a short hand-off document outlining the changes, settings, and any future maintenance steps.
