Complete OVH VPS Setup: DirectAdmin, LiveKit, FFmpeg, Wasabi !! BUDGET 100$ !!!!!!

# OVH VPS – DirectAdmin + LiveKit Streaming + FFmpeg + Wasabi + Complete Security Cockpit

**Please check the attached architecture diagram before bidding.**

I want this complete setup on **one OVH VPS**, with **two separate public IP addresses**:

* **IP 1:** DirectAdmin, websites and normal web hosting services.
* **IP 2:** dedicated to all streaming services: LiveKit, WebRTC, TURN/STUN, FFmpeg, Egress, live video/audio and related services.

I need a **complete turnkey installation, configuration, security setup and testing**.

Before bidding, please confirm that you have experience with **LiveKit, TURN/STUN, WebRTC, FFmpeg, DirectAdmin and Linux server security**. I am not looking for someone who can only install DirectAdmin.

## VPS Configuration

The VPS will have approximately:

* 8 vCores
* 24 GB RAM
* 200 GB NVMe SSD
* 3 Gbps public bandwidth
* Unlimited traffic
* Daily backup
* 2 public IP addresses

Everything will run on the same VPS, but the hosting and streaming environments must be properly separated and secured.

## IP 1 – DirectAdmin / Web Hosting

Install and fully configure DirectAdmin for hosting multiple websites.

This includes:

* Domains and subdomains
* SSL / Let's Encrypt
* PHP
* MySQL/MariaDB
* Website accounts
* E-mail hosting when required
* Backups
* Logs
* Security
* Multiple websites and projects

Some websites hosted in DirectAdmin may also require video/live-streaming functionality.

In this case, **the website must be able to connect to the central streaming services running on IP 2**.

I do not want a separate LiveKit installation for every website.

## IP 2 – Dedicated Streaming Services

The second public IP must be dedicated to streaming and media-processing services.

Install and configure:

* LiveKit Server
* WebRTC
* TURN/STUN
* ICE/NAT traversal
* Secure WSS/TLS
* Redis if required
* FFmpeg
* LiveKit Egress / recording
* Replays
* Video processing
* Thumbnail generation
* Webhooks
* Secure token generation
* Monitoring
* Streaming logs

The streaming infrastructure must support **multiple independent websites/projects**.

Each project must have its own credentials and configuration.

One website must never have access to another project's secrets.

## Connecting DirectAdmin Websites to Streaming

This is important.

Any website hosted through DirectAdmin must be able to use the central streaming infrastructure when required.

For example:

**DirectAdmin website → API/token → LiveKit/Streaming services → Wasabi**

A project may require:

* Live video
* Video/audio calls
* Chat rooms with audio/video
* Webcam broadcasting
* Screen sharing
* Recording
* Replay
* FFmpeg conversion
* Video thumbnails
* Media processing

I want to be able to activate only the services required for each project.

For example:

**Project A: LiveKit + TURN + Wasabi**
**Project B: LiveKit + FFmpeg + Egress + Wasabi**
**Project C: No streaming**

FFmpeg and heavy video-processing jobs should run through **controlled workers/queues with resource limits**, not unrestricted processes inside DirectAdmin website accounts.

## Wasabi S3 Storage

Permanent media storage will use **Wasabi S3**.

This includes:

* Videos
* Photos
* LiveKit recordings
* Replays
* Generated thumbnails
* Processed media

The VPS should mainly keep temporary processing files, system files and logs.

After processing/recording, media should be transferred to Wasabi when appropriate.

Private media must remain protected and should use secure/private access rather than unrestricted public S3 URLs.

## Complete Central Web Cockpit

I need a **complete Web-based Cockpit / administration and security panel**.

The purpose is to manage almost all normal server operations from my computer or phone **without using SSH every day**.

The Cockpit must provide:

* CPU monitoring
* RAM monitoring
* Disk monitoring
* Network/bandwidth monitoring
* Server uptime/load
* LiveKit status
* TURN/STUN status
* FFmpeg/worker status
* Redis status
* DirectAdmin status
* Web/database service status
* Active LiveKit rooms
* Participants/connections
* LiveKit projects
* Project credentials management
* Logs
* SSL certificate monitoring
* Backup status
* Security monitoring
* Authorized service restart/start/stop
* Quick access to DirectAdmin

I want to be able to create a **new streaming project directly from the Cockpit**, generate/manage its credentials and connect it to a website hosted through DirectAdmin.

## Complete IP Management

This is extremely important.

I want to manage IP addresses directly from the Cockpit without SSH.

I must be able to:

* View blocked IP addresses
* Search for an IP
* **Unblock an IP with one click**
* Block an IP manually
* Temporarily ban an IP
* Permanently ban an IP
* Add an IP to the whitelist
* Remove an IP from the whitelist
* Manage blacklist/whitelist
* See why an IP was blocked
* See when it was blocked
* See the ban duration
* See which service blocked the IP
* Manage authorized Fail2ban/firewall actions

For example, if my IP is accidentally blocked, I want to be able to use:

**Cockpit → Security → Blocked IPs → Select IP → UNBLOCK**

without connecting through SSH.

Protection must also be implemented to reduce the risk of the main administrator accidentally locking himself out.

## Administrator Security

Cockpit and DirectAdmin administration must be strongly protected.

Required:

* HTTPS only
* Strong passwords
* 2FA
* Brute-force protection
* Fail2ban
* Login attempt limits
* Secure sessions
* Automatic session expiration
* CSRF/XSS/injection protection where applicable
* Administrator activity logs
* Login history

The Cockpit should record:

**Date/time – Administrator – IP address – Service – Successful/failed login – Action performed**

Important administrative actions must also be logged.

## Administrator Security Alerts by E-mail

I want automatic security notifications by e-mail.

Send alerts for important events including:

* New Cockpit administrator login
* New DirectAdmin administrator login
* Login from a new IP
* Multiple failed login attempts
* Brute-force attempts
* IP banned
* Whitelist/blacklist modification
* Administrator password change
* 2FA enabled/disabled
* Administrator created/deleted
* Important firewall changes
* SSH login
* Critical service stopped/restarted
* LiveKit unavailable
* TURN unavailable
* Abnormally high CPU/RAM
* Low disk space
* SSL certificate expiration

Security e-mails should include useful information such as **date/time, IP address, account, service and event**, but must never include passwords, SSH private keys or API secrets.

## SSH Security

SSH must remain available for technical and emergency access.

I already use an **Ed25519 SSH key**.

SSH key authentication should be used. Password authentication should only be disabled **after SSH key access and an emergency recovery method have been tested successfully**.

My SSH private key must never be stored in the Cockpit.

## Cockpit Security

Although I want extensive administration capabilities from the Cockpit, the Web application itself must **not simply run as unrestricted root**.

Sensitive system operations should use controlled and restricted privileges.

Only predefined authorized administrative operations should be available.

A security vulnerability in the Cockpit must not automatically provide unrestricted root access to the entire VPS.

## Resource Management

DirectAdmin and LiveKit share the same VPS resources, so resource management is important.

Streaming/FFmpeg workloads must not be allowed to consume all CPU, RAM or disk resources and crash the hosted websites.

Monitoring and reasonable resource limits must therefore be configured.

The two public IP addresses provide **network/service separation**, but I understand that both IPs still share the VPS CPU, RAM and total available network capacity.

## Testing

The complete installation must be tested with:

* Desktop Web browser

* Android

* Emergency access procedure
* Important ports and firewall configuration
* Location of important configuration files

## Final Requirement

I want a **complete turnkey system**, not just software installation.

The job is complete only when the following are installed, configured, secured and tested:
