I’m looking for ongoing part-time help keeping a growing Google Sheet accurate, clean, and ready for analysis. Most of the raw data will come from light online research centred on competitor analysis; once gathered, it needs to be entered and then rigorously cleaned and formatted so every column is consistent and error-free.
Here’s how the workflow usually looks:
• Online research: locate the required competitor information (company name, URL, key metrics I specify each week).
• Data input: add those findings to the shared Google Sheet in the correct columns.
• Data cleaning & formatting (primary focus): standardise spelling, dates, capitalisation, remove duplicates, align numeric formats, and double-check for 100 % accuracy.
Typical volume is 2–3 hours spread across the week, though it may increase as our dataset grows. I’ll provide a short Loom video and style guide so you know exactly what “clean and formatted” means for us; your job is to make sure every row meets that standard before you mark the task complete.
The ideal rhythm is:
1. Receive the weekly research brief.
2. Deliver a fully formatted Sheet by the agreed checkpoint.
3. Respond to any quick follow-up questions and close the week.
If you’re comfortable living inside Google Sheets, enjoy meticulous data cleaning, and can hunt down competitor info efficiently, let’s talk—I’d love to build a long-term working relationship.
