Dukaano (https://dukaano.app) gives independent US grocery stores and halal butchers their own online store. This first round is South Asian shops only: Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Nepali groceries and halal butchers. Customers see what's in stock, fill a basket on their phone, and the order arrives on the owner's phone as a message, already typed out. The owner builds it from a photo of their price list in about five minutes. It costs $99/month, with no commission on orders, and owners get their money back if it isn't working in the first 14 days.
We need people to phone shop owners, get them to open dukaano.app on their phone during the call, and help them set up their store.
What we give you:
- A list of real shops with phone numbers, the shop's likely language and its time zone. Each caller gets their own cities, so nobody calls the same shop.
- Our call script and objection answers.
- Your own link (dukaano.app/r/yourcode) and referral code, so every sign-up is credited to you automatically.
Pay (commission only, no hourly pay):
- $75 for every shop that launches its store with your code (the owner pays $99 when they launch). You're paid within 48 hours, once we've called the shop to confirm the owner signed up.
- No cap. 10 shops = $750.
- Not paid, or taken back from your next payout: stores that aren't real businesses, sign-ups the shop doesn't confirm, and stores refunded within 14 days or charged back.
How you work:
- Call shops during their business hours, by hand from your own phone (a calling app that shows a US number is fine). No autodialers, no recorded messages, no texting anyone who hasn't said yes on the call.
- Speak the shop's language: owners stay on the line for someone who sounds like their customers. The list tells you each shop's likely language (Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati or Nepali).
- Be honest: say who you are and that you're calling for Dukaano, never pretend to be a customer, never invent numbers or promise features we don't have.
- After every conversation, write short notes in our template (what they said, what they asked, what they wanted) and send them at the end of each session. We use them to improve the product.
Must have:
- Clear spoken English, plus at least one of: Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Bengali, Gujarati, Nepali.
- Phone sales or cold-calling experience, ideally with small businesses in the US.
- Able to call during US business hours (10:00–16:30 in the shop's time zone).
In your application, tell us: 1) your phone-sales experience in two lines, 2) which languages you speak, 3) which US hours you can call, and 4) how you'd answer an owner who says "$99 a month is too much".
Also include: 5) open https://dukaano.app on your phone, tap the Apna Bazaar example store, add one item, press Send order on WhatsApp, and paste the first line of the message it shows (it is an example store, nothing is ordered), and 6) your opening line to a shop owner, written in the language you would use. We hire one caller at a time and work closely with you before your first call.
