I am developing a pair of high-rise office trousers for women who spend long hours seated and need extra ease through the inner thighs, butt, and waistband. The waistband must sit one finger below the belly button while still looking sleek and professional.

Fabric direction is set: 50 % Lyocell, 45 % Cotton, 5 % Spandex. Construction should run 12–14 stitches per inch with French seams throughout, so the pattern must accommodate these allowances without adding bulk.
