I want to take the muscle of a 2-ton hydraulic engine crane and merge it with the mobility of a pallet jack, then drive the result straight to the workshop floor. Your task is to create a complete set of manufacturing drawings that a fabricator can follow without guesswork.
The scope centres on one integrated unit, not two separate machines. Every bracket, pin, weld, and hydraulic connection must be dimensioned and toleranced so a cutter, welder, and assembler can build it exactly as shown. Think: cut lists for RHS and plate, weld symbols, exploded views, and clear assembly sequences that keep the 2-ton capacity front-of-mind.
I am comfortable reviewing work in SolidWorks, Inventor, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD; use whichever you prefer as long as the exported PDFs, DXFs, and STEP files are included.
Deliverables (must-haves)
• 2D fabrication drawings with material call-outs, weld symbols, and cut lengths
• Assembly drawings with numbered BOM and torque / pin specifications
• STEP or native 3D model for visual checks
• Hydraulic cylinder, pump, and fittings specification tied back to the 2-ton rating
I will sign off once the drawings can go straight to a shop floor and the hydraulic spec confirms safe lifting at full capacity.
