I need a robust, cloud-ready application that streamlines every stage of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods distribution for my company. The core build has to run smoothly on Android phones and a responsive web dashboard so our field and back-office teams stay in sync wherever they are.
Primary audience
Sales representatives will live in the app all day, so speed, offline resilience and a clean user journey are top priorities. Warehouse or management views can be phased in later, but the first release must delight reps out on their routes.
Core functionality
The initial scope centres on three pillars—inventory management, real-time sales tracking and seamless order processing. Reps should be able to:
• check stock levels in real time, even with spotty connectivity,
• create and edit orders on the fly,
• push confirmed sales to the cloud so office staff see numbers instantly, and
• view simple performance analytics that motivate them to hit targets.
Architecture expectations
I want a modern, service-oriented back end that can scale effortlessly as our territories grow. Think REST or GraphQL APIs, container-friendly deployment and a clear path to AWS, GCP or Azure. A single codebase approach such as Flutter or React + React Native is welcome if it keeps maintenance lean, but I’m open to your technical preference as long as future platform additions remain straightforward.
Deliverables for this engagement
• UX/UI mock-ups incorporating the full workflow above
• Android APK and responsive web build ready for pilot rollout
• Documented cloud deployment scripts (CI/CD preferred)
• Source code with clear module separation for inventory, sales and orders
• Basic test suite and hand-over session for my in-house team
Acceptance criteria
• Offline-first data handling with auto-sync when connectivity returns
• Sub-second screen navigation on a mid-range Android handset
• Accurate stock reconciliation between app and back-office database after bulk imports
• Clean codebase that another developer can set up locally in under 30 minutes
