Title: AI engineer to build our clothing photo enhancement system (fixed price)

We run a listing tool for people selling new, unworn clothing and accessories on Vinted and Depop. The main feature is enhanced listing photos.

What it does. A seller uploads phone photos of an item on their floor — any quality, as long as the details are visible. The system returns that item photographed the way the best seller on the platform would photograph it: laid out on a clean floor, well lit, natural, and completely believable as a real phone photo. The output should look like the same product in the same size shot by a much better seller — it doesn't have to be the seller's exact physical unit, but it must be unmistakably that item: logos, prints, badges, labels, colours and construction exactly as they are. Enhance as far as possible without touching those.

What "working" means. It produces an optimal shot first time, nearly every time. A seller only regenerates if they fancy a slightly different lay or angle, and when they do they get a genuinely different natural photo, not the same one again. Never anything that reads as AI-generated.

Where we are. A prompt-based version calling an image-editing API from our Node backend already produces this look sometimes. The problem is consistency. We're past prompt tweaking — we need someone who builds this kind of system properly. We'll give you references for the look; we need you for the technical side.

You: deep, current knowledge of AI image-editing and generation models and how to build a reliable pipeline around them — steering toward a defined look and holding it, controlled variation between runs, checking outputs and retrying, locking regions that must not change. You've built pipelines like this and can say what they cost per image.

The job: design and build the full enhancement stage (garments and accessories, main shots and close-ups), delivered as code that runs from our Node backend against whichever API provider you recommend — we pay the provider directly, same as now. Source and notes included. Fixed price for the whole stage, quoted by you.

Bid with. your approach in a few lines — how you'd get the look consistent yet varied, and how you'd keep details exact; which provider and rough cost per image; one or two examples of similar work; price and timeframe.

If this goes well there's ongoing work on the same product — an image-variation stage next, then more.
