Claude AI & Canva Automation Specialist – Build an AI-Powered Graphic Design System
Project Overview
Total Automotive is looking for an experienced AI automation specialist to help us build a streamlined, AI-powered graphic design system using Claude AI and Canva.
We want to create a system that allows us to use Claude AI to generate, organise and manage branded social media designs, with Canva used to create and edit the final visuals.
The aim is to develop a repeatable workflow that makes content creation faster, more consistent and easier for our team to manage, without having to design every post from scratch.
I will provide all the necessary content, brand guidelines, Canva templates, logos, images and other assets required to set up the system. We will work collaboratively throughout the project, with me providing the creative direction, requirements and feedback while you handle the technical setup, Claude AI skills, Canva integration and automation workflow.
The goal is to build a user-friendly system tailored to Total Automotive that allows us to generate consistent, on-brand social media designs efficiently, with the ability to edit and refine the final designs in Canva. I am looking for someone who can guide me through the technical process, recommend the best solutions and work closely with me to achieve the desired outcome.
Scope of Work
We are looking for a freelancer who can help us with the following:
1. Claude AI Skills & Agent Setup
Set up custom Claude AI skills and workflows tailored to our business.
Build an AI agent that can assist with generating and creating social media graphic designs.
Configure the agent to follow our brand guidelines, colours, visual style and design requirements.
Enable the system to interpret prompts and content briefs and turn them into design concepts.
2. Claude AI & Canva Integration
Connect Claude AI with Canva using the most suitable available integration, such as Canva's supported connectors, APIs or MCP tools where appropriate.
Enable the workflow to create new designs or populate existing Canva templates.
Ensure designs can be edited and refined in Canva after generation.
Automate repetitive design tasks wherever practical.
3. Design Upload & Creation System
Create a structured system for uploading and organising brand assets, including logos, vehicle images, brand guidelines, fonts and other marketing materials.
Set up reusable Canva templates for consistent branding.
Develop a workflow that can use uploaded assets and content briefs to generate new designs.
Organise templates and assets so they are easy for our team to access and reuse.
4. Branded Social Media Content Workflow
Configure the system to create designs for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
Support different content formats, including social media posts, carousels, promotional graphics and Reel covers.
Ensure outputs follow our brand guidelines and the correct dimensions for each platform.
Make the process simple enough for our marketing team to use without needing technical knowledge.
5. Testing, Documentation & Handover
Test the complete workflow from uploading assets and entering a prompt to generating an editable Canva design.
Provide clear documentation and instructions for our team.
Explain how to maintain, update and improve the system after completion.
