Cinematic Wedding & Event Editor

I film love stories and milestone celebrations exclusively, so I’m after a video editor who can turn raw wedding and social-event footage into refined, emotionally charged films that couples and families will treasure for life.

My absolute priority is storytelling—pacing, narrative arc, and those subtle moments that make viewers tear up. Within that, I still expect the colour work to feel true-to-life yet cinematic, the audio bed to be clean and immersive, and the transitions to flow so smoothly they disappear.

Style wise, think romantic and cinematic rather than documentary. Slow-motion first looks, artful cutaways, gentle swells in music, and clever sound design that lets vows, speeches, and ambient crowd reactions breathe in all the right places.

You’ll receive multi-camera footage (generally 4K), separate audio tracks, and any licensed music I’ve secured. I’ll need you to:
• Craft a compelling romantic narrative from start to finish
• Colour grade consistently across cameras and lighting shifts
• Layer dialogue, ambience, and music tastefully
• Deliver a 10–15 min feature film plus a 60–90 sec teaser, exported in high-quality H.264 and ProRes

I’m hoping to establish a long-term partnership, so reliability, strong communication, and a portfolio of premium wedding or social-event edits are essential. If you work primarily in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve and can hit firm deadlines without sacrificing artistry, let’s talk.
