Cinematic Vlog Editor Needed -- 2

I’ve shot a series of personal vlogs and now need a skilled editor who can turn the raw footage into smooth, cinematic stories that feel natural and unforced. Most videos will be shared on Instagram Reels and YouTube, so each final cut must be delivered in the correct aspect ratios and resolutions for those platforms.

Here’s what matters to me:

• Story first. Trim and arrange the clips so the narrative flows clearly and stays engaging from start to finish without relying on quick-fire cuts.
• Subtle polish. Use smooth transitions, tasteful color correction, and cinematic grading that enhance the visuals without screaming “effect.”
• Sound that lifts the mood. Layer in upbeat, lively background music and light sound effects only where they truly add value.
• Light graphics. Insert simple on-screen text, captions, or minimal motion graphics when the story calls for it.
• Final exports. Provide separate masters for YouTube (16:9) and Instagram Reels/Stories (9:16), optimized for each platform.
