I have already captured the raw footage for a gospel-inspired story set against gritty, yet hopeful urban backdrops. Now I need an editor who can shape that material into a dramatic, cinema-style music video that runs about three to four minutes.

Here’s the creative direction:
• Tone: sweeping, emotional, and filmic—think rich color grading, deliberate pacing, and bold contrast.
• Visual world: rooftops, alleyways, neon-lit streets, and cityskylines that reinforce the narrative of redemption in the heart of the city.
• Assets: only live-action footage will be used; no animation is required. However, I’m open to tasteful text snippets for chapter titles or scripture references if they help the story flow.

Core tasks:
1. Craft a compelling edit that matches the track’s beats and lyrical cues.
2. Apply cinematic color grading and light VFX (lens flares, film grain, or subtle speed-ramps) where they elevate emotion.
3. Sync all dialogue and performance shots perfectly with the song.
4. Mix in city ambience and transitional sound effects without overpowering the music.
5. Deliver the final piece in 4K ProRes and an additional web-ready 1080p H.264 file.

Acceptance criteria:
• Smooth narrative arc with a clear beginning, climax, and resolution.
• Color grade feels consistent and showcases night-time city shots without muddy shadows.
• All cuts are rhythmically aligned to the song, with no off-beat footage.
• Final output is free of copyright conflicts.

I edit smaller projects myself, so please note that I’m familiar with Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects jargon; feel free to reference any of those tools in your workflow. If something in the raw footage needs pickup shots or reshoots, flag it early so we can solve it quickly.
