Project Overview
We are looking for a skilled and creative Cinematic Video Editor with AI Video Production Knowledge to create a premium-quality, approximately 10-minute documentary-style film for a private community organization's event in New Delhi, India.
The film will combine a cinematic documentary with an original anthem song, creating one seamless audio-visual experience. The project requires strong storytelling, emotional impact, professional editing, and excellent music synchronization.
The subject and organization details are confidential at this stage and will be shared with the selected freelancer.
Project Structure
The final video will be approximately 10 minutes long:
Documentary section: Approximately 7 minutes
Anthem section: Approximately 3 minutes, featuring synchronized cinematic visuals
Final output: One continuous, seamless video—not two separate videos
The documentary and anthem should flow naturally as a single film, with a powerful opening, engaging storytelling, emotional progression, and a memorable finale suitable for screening at a live event.
Visual Requirements
Approximately 90% of the documentary visuals will be created using a combination of:
High-quality 4K stock footage
AI-generated cinematic visuals and video clips
AI-assisted visual storytelling, where appropriate
Relevant historical, cultural, community, and atmospheric imagery
Smooth transitions, cinematic pacing, and professional colour grading
The remaining visuals may include reference images, photographs, logos, or other project assets supplied by us.
The editor should be capable of selecting appropriate visuals and building a coherent narrative from the provided script, references, and creative direction.
Music and Audio
The anthem song/audio will be supplied by us, unless otherwise agreed.
The documentary must be edited in sync with the anthem and its musical progression.
Use suitable copyright-safe, royalty-free background music and sound effects for the documentary section.
Use cinematic sound design, subtle ambient effects, impactful transitions, and appropriate pauses.
Ensure smooth audio transitions between the documentary and anthem.
The final audio mix must be clear, balanced, and suitable for playback at a large indoor event.
Any music, stock footage, AI assets, or sound effects used must be legally licensed for the intended public event screening and final video use. Please disclose any licensing limitations.

We are looking for a premium, modern, cinematic film—not a typical corporate presentation or government-style documentary.
The video should feature:
A powerful opening that immediately captures the audience's attention
Professional voice-over synchronization, if a voice-over is provided

A gradual build-up of music and emotion
A powerful ending synchronized with the anthem's climax

The intended audience will watch this film at a community event in New Delhi. The final experience should feel polished, emotionally engaging, and memorable.
