I have a brand-new Chrome extension that automates and streamlines the bidding flow on Freelancer.com. Before rolling it out wider, I need a full round of QA to be sure that every click, screen and background process behaves as expected.
Scope of the test
• Cover functionality end-to-end: install, login, project search, bid submission, notifications and auto-fill features.
• Evaluate the user interface: layout, wording, icons, colour states, and any responsive behaviour when you resize or switch devices.
• Measure performance: load times, CPU/RAM spikes, lag on high-volume projects and any impact on overall browser speed.
Environment
Run the extension on both desktop and laptop hardware. I need separate passes on Windows, macOS and Linux, each using the latest stable build of Google Chrome.
Deliverables
1. Consolidated bug report (spreadsheet or shared doc) with reproducible steps, screenshots or short screen recordings, expected vs. actual behaviour and severity rating.
2. A short summary highlighting the top three critical issues, if any, and general usability observations.
3. Confirmation that you have re-verified each fixed issue on a second pass.
Acceptance criteria
• Every issue listed must include clear steps and at least one visual proof.
• No crash, freeze or major functional blocker should remain reproducible after the final pass.
If anything is unclear, let me know before you start so we can avoid duplicate effort.
