My children’s picture book series is about to grow beyond friends and family, so it’s time to turn Instagram and Facebook into lively hubs that parents actively follow and share. I want a hands-on manager who can:
• Plan and post a steady mix of promotional videos, playful interactive posts (quizzes, polls, challenges), and short interview or podcast-style clips that put me—the author—on camera.
• Film and edit the video content yourself (smartphone quality is fine as long as the lighting, framing, and audio feel professional and kid-friendly).
• Optimise each piece for the platform it goes on: Reels for Instagram, longer cuts or carousels for Facebook, and repurposed assets that can sit on my Amazon Author page.
• Grow real parent followers through smart use of hashtags, collaborations with parenting influencers, and community engagement in comments and DMs.
• Provide a simple monthly content calendar and a short performance report so we can track reach, saves, shares, and sales uplift.
Target audience: parents who buy picture books.
I will supply high-resolution illustrations, story excerpts, and any behind-the-scenes material you need. Scheduling tools such as Buffer or Meta Business Suite are already set up—just jump in, create, post, and engage.
