Role Summary:
Edit raw footage into polished, trend-aligned Instagram Reels similar in style to creators like Taneesha — fast cuts, strong hook in first 2-3 seconds, trending audio sync, and punchy on-screen text/captions.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit raw video/photo footage into 15-60 second reels with tight pacing and jump cuts
Sync cuts and transitions precisely to trending audio beats
Add on-screen captions/text overlays with modern typography and timed animations
Suggest or select trending audio/formats relevant to the brand (jewellery/fashion niche)
Color grade/correct footage for a consistent, premium look
Create a strong hook (first 2-3 seconds) to stop scroll
Deliver in correct aspect ratio/export specs for Instagram/YouTube Shorts
Maintain consistent brand aesthetic across all reels (fonts, colors, transitions)
Turn around edits within 24-48 hours of receiving raw footage
Required Skills:
Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing tools
Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and trend awareness
Portfolio of reels with visible engagement/reach
Understanding of hook-writing or willingness to work with provided scripts/concepts
Nice to Have:
Experience editing for fashion/jewellery/lifestyle brands
Basic motion graphics/animation skills
Ability to suggest trending formats proactively, not just execute briefs
