I have a six-chapter novella written in a dry-humor tone and I’m ready to bring the first two chapters to life with eight black-and-white drawings. The line work should be clean yet playful—solidly cartoonish rather than realistic or abstract—because the humor lands better when the artwork feels light and lively.

For these initial chapters I want each illustration to spotlight a humorous moment involving the main protagonist. You’ll receive a short brief for every scene so you can capture the set-ups, the punchlines, and the character’s deadpan reactions without needing pages of exposition.

Fee & future scope
I’ve set aside $1,000 for these first eight pieces. If we both enjoy the collaboration, the remaining four chapters will need another sixteen drawings plus a cover, all in the same style and at the same per-image rate.

Deliverables
• 8 black-and-white, print-ready illustrations (minimum 300 dpi, CMYK & RGB)
• Layered source files (PSD or Procreate)
• Full usage rights for print and digital publication

Acceptance criteria
1. Each drawing clearly depicts the specified humorous moment and features the protagonist prominently.
2. Consistent cartoon line weight and shading across all eight pieces.
3. Final files delivered within three weeks of receiving my scene briefs.

If this sounds like your wheelhouse, I’d love to see a quick sample or portfolio link showing similar cartoon work. Let’s make these pages laugh out loud.
