Who we are:
Action1 is an autonomous endpoint management platform trusted by many Fortune 500 companies. Cloud-native, infinitely scalable, highly secure, and configurable in 5 minutes—it just works and is always free for the first 200 endpoints, with no functional limits. By pioneering autonomous OS and third-party patching with peer-to-peer patch distribution and real-time vulnerability assessment without needing a VPN, it eliminates routine labor, preempts ransomware and security risks, and protects the digital employee experience.
In 2025, Action1 was recognized by Inc. 5000 as the fastest-growing private software company in America. The company is founder-led by Alex Vovk and Mike Walters, American entrepreneurs who previously founded Netwrix, a multi-billion-dollar cybersecurity company.
Introduction:
As a key member of Action1’s Business Development team, you’ll play a critical role in fueling Action1’s growth by owning the top of the sales funnel. This is an early-stage, high-impact position where you’ll help shape how outbound works at Action1. You’ll be expected to operate in a scrappy, startup environment, test new approaches, and contribute ideas—not just follow a playbook.
If you’re someone who thrives with structure already in place, this likely isn’t the right fit. If you’re energized by building, experimenting, and figuring things out, you’ll do well here.
Responsibilities:
Prospect into target accounts through a high-volume outbound motion (calls, email, LinkedIn)
Prioritize and qualify leads based on defined ICP (200+ endpoints focus)
Conduct cold outreach, with a strong emphasis on cold calling
Identify and engage the right personas within accounts
Collaborate with AEs to generate qualified pipeline
Research accounts and craft thoughtful, personalized messaging
Test and iterate on outreach strategies, messaging, and workflows
Contribute ideas to improve team processes, tooling, and approach
Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline hygiene in CRM
Requirements
6–12 months of BDR/SDR experience (outbound)
Strong cold calling skills and comfort picking up the phone
Experience with lead qualification and account research
Cybersecurity experience required, endpoint management preferred
Ability to work in a scrappy, startup environment—not dependent on tools or rigid processes
Curious, adaptable, and willing to test new approaches
Team-oriented with a no-ego, collaborative mindset
We are seeking candidates who can start as soon as possible due to business needs
Benefits
A collaborative environment encouraging you to own your domain and implement best practices
Stable income, benefits, flexible working hours, and opportunities for promotion.
Friendly and professional peers, eager to help and help you grow.
A multitude of interesting challenges and opportunities.
