Bulk Data Entry & Cleansing

I have three distinct text-file datasets—customer information, financial records, and survey responses—that all need to be brought into a clean, analysis-ready format. The job is twofold: first, accurately key or import every record into a structured spreadsheet or database layout; second, perform a full hygiene pass to remove duplicates, correct any formatting inconsistencies, and fill in the missing fields I will flag for you.

You will receive a folder of raw .txt files plus a short field dictionary that shows the expected column names, data types, and any reference lists you can use for validation. Once the data is in shape, return it as Excel workbooks (or CSV if you prefer) that match the field order in the template I’ll provide so I can import straight into our CRM and accounting software.

Deliverables
• Clean, de-duplicated datasets for all three categories
• A brief change log noting major corrections or assumptions made
• Verification that row counts in the cleaned files reconcile with the original sources (minus legitimate duplicates)

If you work faster by scripting in Python, Power Query, or similar tools, great—just keep the final output user-friendly. Accuracy is more important than speed, but I would like the first milestone (customer information file) ready within three days so we can confirm the approach before you continue with the rest.
