# Pharmaceutical Supply Chain & Traceability Web Platform
## Project Overview
We are looking for an experienced full-stack developer or small development team to build a modern, secure, and responsive web platform for pharmaceutical supply chain management and product traceability.
The platform will provide end-to-end visibility of medicines as they move through the supply chain, from manufacturers to pharmacies and ultimately to consumers. The system will support product identification, ownership transfers, verification, audit history, and regulatory workflows.
This is intended to be a long-term product development engagement, with an initial MVP estimated at approximately 4–6 months.
## MVP Requirements
The initial version should include:
* User authentication and role-based access
* Government/regulatory authority management
* Drug registration and licensing
* Medicine registration and unique identification
* End-to-end product traceability
* Ownership/custody transfer management
* Manufacturer and pharmacy workflows
* Audit trails and activity history
* Medicine authenticity verification
* Public verification portal
* Responsive dashboards and interfaces
* Backend APIs and database
* Security and access controls
## Technical Requirements
Candidates should have strong experience with:
* Full-stack web application development
* React, Vue, or similar modern frontend frameworks
* TypeScript / JavaScript
* Node.js, Go, or similar backend technologies
* PostgreSQL or comparable relational databases
* REST API development
* Authentication and authorization
* Cloud infrastructure and deployment
* CI/CD and DevOps
* Automated testing and QA
* Secure application development
Experience with healthcare, pharmaceutical, supply-chain, inventory, traceability, or regulatory software is a strong advantage.
## Integrations & Future Scalability
The architecture should be designed to support future integrations with external systems used by manufacturers, pharmacies, wholesalers, and other supply-chain participants.
Experience with ERP/WMS integrations, EDI, GS1, EPCIS, healthcare APIs, or other enterprise integrations is valuable.
## UI/UX
The platform should have a clean, modern, responsive interface that works well across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Different user roles will require different dashboards and workflows, while the public verification portal should remain simple and easy to use.
## Blockchain
Blockchain is not required for the MVP. We are open to the development partner's technical recommendations regarding whether it would provide meaningful value for any future component.
## Expected Deliverables
The selected partner will be responsible for:
* UI/UX implementation
* Frontend development
* Backend development
* Database implementation
* API development
* Authentication and authorization
* Testing and QA
* Cloud deployment
* Technical documentation
* Source-code delivery and repository handover
* Initial post-launch support
## Timeline
The initial MVP is expected to take approximately 4–6 months.
We welcome candidates who can provide a detailed development schedule with milestones and deliverables.
## Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a developer or team that can act as a technology partner, not simply execute isolated development tasks.
Please include:
1. Relevant project experience
2. Examples of similar platforms you have built
3. Proposed technology stack
4. Team composition
5. Estimated timeline
6. Estimated project cost
7. Availability for a 4–6 month engagement
8. Experience with API/enterprise integrations
9. Approach to security and QA
10. Post-MVP support availability
Detailed project documentation will be provided to qualified candidates during the evaluation process.
We are particularly interested in partners who can contribute technical expertise, architectural guidance, and practical recommendations throughout the development process.
