I’m looking for a developer who can turn raw GPS data from the tracking units already installed in our vehicles into a responsive, browser-based platform that updates in real time. The core function is simple and clearly defined: as each vehicle reports in, I need its exact position and heading plotted instantly on a map so dispatchers always know where the fleet is and which way it’s moving.

Key needs
• Direct ingestion of location strings from our existing GPS hardware (no mobile-phone reporting).
• Sub-second refresh of the live map with pins/arrows showing current location and direction.
• A clean, intuitive interface that lets users filter by vehicle, zoom, and recenter quickly.
• Secure login and basic user management so we can control who sees the data.

Deliverables
1. Web application (desktop-first, mobile-friendly) with the live map view.
2. Back-end service that receives, stores, and serves GPS data in real time.
3. Brief deployment guide and hand-off walkthrough.

If you have experience with mapping libraries such as Leaflet, Mapbox, or Google Maps JS API and real-time data pipelines (WebSockets, MQTT, or similar), I’d love to see examples. Please outline the stack you’d propose and an estimated timeline for an MVP that covers the requirements above.
