We are looking for an experienced mobile developer or team to build **two applications for Fennec HUB**, our multi-merchant business platform.
**Project 1: Business Operations App — Tablet / Mobile**
An application for merchants and staff to manage daily operations, with a tablet-first interface suitable for counters, restaurants and service businesses.
The main modules are:
- **POS:** Product selection, cart, checkout, payment recording, receipts, discounts, returns and order history.
- **Appointments:** Calendar, bookings, staff assignment, availability and appointment status.
- **Order management:** Receive and manage online orders, accept or reject orders, and update their progress.
- **Delivery:** Assign deliveries to drivers and track preparation, dispatch and delivery status.
- **Kitchen management:** Kitchen display showing incoming orders, preparation instructions, priorities and preparation status.
- **Restaurant floor management:** Visual table layout, table availability, opening and managing table orders, transferring tables and sending orders to the kitchen.
- **Staff access:** Permissions based on each employee’s role, merchant and branch.
The app should show the relevant modules according to the merchant’s business type. Restaurant workflows and regular online-store workflows have different requirements and must be handled accordingly.
**Project 2: Customer Marketplace App — Mobile**
A customer-facing application bringing multiple Fennec HUB merchants and services into one app.
The main features are:
- **Multi-merchant ecommerce:** Browse merchants, stores, products and categories; search; manage a cart; place orders; choose delivery or pickup; and track orders.
- **Restaurant ordering:** Browse menus, select options and extras, and place delivery or pickup orders.
- **Appointment booking:** Browse service providers, view availability and book appointments.
- **Bill payments:** Select a supported biller, enter the required account details, make a payment and receive confirmation.
- **Gaming and digital products:** Purchase gaming vouchers, gift cards, top-ups and other supported digital products, with secure delivery of codes or transaction confirmation.
- **Customer account:** Profile, saved addresses, order and booking history, transaction history and notifications.
**Integration and technical expectations**
Fennec HUB already has an existing backend and business logic. These applications must integrate with our APIs and follow the platform’s existing merchant, branch, permissions and transaction rules. We will provide available API documentation and clarify any additional endpoints required.
We need:
- A clean, consistent UI adapted to tablets and phones.
- Real-time updates for orders, kitchen operations and delivery.
- Secure authentication and appropriate access controls.
- Clear handling of failed payments, connection issues and retries, preventing duplicate orders or transactions.
- A structure that supports multiple languages and future modules.
- Complete source code, build instructions, technical documentation and deployment support.
Payment, bill-payment and digital-product features must use the integrations supported and enabled by our backend. Provider onboarding or new third-party integrations should be quoted separately.
**Please include in your proposal:**
- Relevant examples of POS, restaurant, marketplace or payment apps you have delivered.
- Your recommended technology and supported platforms.
- A separate cost and timeline for each project.
- A proposed MVP and delivery milestones.
- What is included in design, development, testing, publishing and post-launch support.
