Full-Stack Property Management, CRM, Marketplace & Field Operations Platform
We are looking for an experienced senior full-stack developer or small product engineering team to build a complete, production-grade property management operating system for an Indian real-estate/property-management company.
This is not a simple website or admin panel. The requirement is for an integrated SaaS-style platform combining a public property marketplace, CRM, property-management operations, customer portals, field operations, finance workflows and employee/HR functions within a single system.
Core Product Scope
The system should have four interconnected application surfaces sharing one central backend:
1. Public Website + Property Marketplace
SEO-optimized responsive website, city/locality landing pages, Buy/Rent/Lease listings, property search and filters, property detail pages, owner-property submission, tenant requirements, enquiry capture, visit booking, lead/referral intake and customer authentication.
2. Internal Operations / CRM
Desktop-first operations system for property acquisition, tenant acquisition, lead management, property onboarding, property master, owner/tenant profiles, visit scheduling, follow-ups, negotiations, agreements, move-in/move-out, inspections, inventory, keys, maintenance, rent collection, vendor management, documents, tasks, SLA/TAT monitoring and complete operational timelines.
The CRM must support assignment by employee, department, city and role, with controlled reassignment, audit trails, duplicate detection, workflow/state-machine rules and role-based access.
3. Owner & Tenant Customer Portal
Customers should be able to log in and view their properties/tenancy, agreements, payments, rent information, maintenance requests, inspections, documents, visits, approvals, support requests, notifications and action-required items.
4. Mobile-First Field Operations
Field executives require a dedicated mobile interface for assigned visits/jobs, GPS-based check-in/out, property inspections, onboarding, photography, inventory verification, meter readings, key handover, move-in/out, maintenance verification, evidence/photos, navigation and job completion.
Employee / HRMS
The platform should also include a native HR layer linked to the same employee identity system:
Employee master and access control
Departments/designations/reporting managers
Roles and city assignments
Shifts and weekly offs
Attendance and GPS punch
Leave balances, leave requests and approvals
Attendance regularization
Employee documents
Workforce availability
Employee self-service “My HR”
Manager/team HR dashboard
Salary structures
Shadow payroll processing
Payslips and downloadable PDF salary slips
Technical Expectations
Preferred modern stack:
React 19 + TypeScript + TanStack Start/Router/Query + Vite + Tailwind CSS + shadcn/ui + Supabase/PostgreSQL.
The backend should use PostgreSQL with strong Row Level Security (RLS), secure server-side privileged operations, audit logging, role/city-based authorization, object/document storage and API/RPC boundaries.
The product must be responsive, premium and highly polished, with the public/customer experience optimized for mobile, the internal operations system optimized for laptop/desktop, and Field Ops optimized for mobile.
Integrations
Architecture should support integrations such as:
WhatsApp/SMS/email notifications
MSG91 or similar communication provider
Razorpay/payment gateway
Google Maps/Places/Geocoding
Google Calendar
Telephony
Accounting integration such as Zoho Books
Document/PDF generation
OTP authentication
All real provider activation should be environment-controlled and secure.
Security & Quality Requirements
This is a business-critical application. We expect:
Proper RBAC and city-level access restrictions
Supabase/Postgres RLS
Secure server-side privileged operations
No secret/service-role keys in frontend code
Audit logs
Controlled workflow/state transitions
Idempotent backend operations where required
Automated tests
TypeScript/typecheck compliance
Production-grade error handling
Separate staging and production environments
Migration/version discipline
Clean Git-based development workflow
Expected Freelancer
We prefer someone who has previously built large SaaS, ERP, CRM, property-management, logistics, field-service or marketplace platforms, rather than only landing pages or basic CRUD dashboards.
Please provide:
Similar systems you have built
Proposed architecture and technology stack
Team size
Estimated development timeline
Fixed-price or milestone-wise quotation
Post-launch warranty/support period
Whether UI/UX, backend, DevOps, testing and deployment are included
Important: We already understand the required product deeply and can provide detailed workflows, schemas, business rules and reference screens. We are looking for someone capable of implementing the complete system to production quality, not merely creating a prototype.
