Bridal Market Event Sales Assistant

I need an extra set of capable, bridal-savvy hands at the One Fine Day Bridal Market in Manhattan from Friday, Oct 13 through Sunday, Oct 15. The position is on-site and pays $35 per hour for the full three-day schedule.

Your main focus will be welcoming boutique buyers to our stand, keeping the conversation flowing and answering basic product questions until bridal vendor. You’ll also help set up, straighten, and restock the booth so every gown looks photo-ready throughout the show. When traffic spikes, you’ll process card payments, and whenever language barriers arise you’ll step in to translate or clarify questions for my Mandarin-speaking designer so nothing gets lost in translation.

Some experience in bridal, formalwear, or luxury retail is a plus—you should feel confident discussing fit, fabrication, and ordering timelines. Comfort standing most of the day and handling light booth setup is important, too. Reliability, punctuality, strong communication skills, and trustworthiness are essential as you will be handling payments. Professional business attire in all black is required for the event. Please note that this event is exclusive to buyers.
