Brand Typography Style Refresh

Our visual identity is almost complete, but the type just isn’t speaking the same language as the rest of the brand. I’m concentrating solely on the typography portion of the suite and, more specifically, on selecting and refining a new sans-serif font style that will pair naturally with our existing logo, colour palette, and overall tone.
Here’s what I need from you:
• A short-listed set of two to three modern, versatile sans-serif families (Google Fonts are welcome if they fit).
• Clear justification for each choice—how it aligns with our brand personality, its licensing practicality, and on-screen/print legibility.
• Basic usage guidelines: hierarchy suggestions (headlines, body copy, captions), recommended weights, and any optical size considerations.
• A quick mock-up or two showing the proposed type in situ with our current colour palette so stakeholders can visualise the change.
Success for this mini-project means I can walk away with a confident, brand-ready sans-serif system and a concise one-pager that my team can plug straight into our style guide.
