I’m preparing to launch my website and companion app in new markets and need a native translator who can make every string feel written for the local user while staying faithful to the tone of my brand. Your job is to take the existing interface copy—menus, CTAs, onboarding screens, notifications—and recreate it so it reads naturally, fits typical character limits, and conveys the same friendly, confident voice we use in English.
What I’ll hand over is the master text file (spreadsheet or JSON, whichever you prefer) along with a brief style guide that explains our personality, preferred terminology, and a few do-and-don’t examples. Accuracy is important, but exact word-for-word equivalence is less critical than preserving that brand style throughout the user journey.
Deliverables
• Fully translated file, ready to be dropped back into the build (no placeholder breaks or formatting issues)
• Self-proofread copy, free of spelling and grammar errors, with any context questions flagged in comments
• One post-implementation review round to fix potential truncation or layout problems once the strings are live
When you reply, please let me know:
• Your native language and region expertise
• Links or names of apps/websites you have localized before
• How you make sure brand voice carries over in translation
I’m looking to kick this off right away and will have more updates to translate later if we work well together.
