Books-to-Anki Card Conversion

I’ve got between six and ten books that mix regular text with illustrative images, and I want every key concept turned into polished Anki flashcards. The deck has to use a custom card layout rather than the standard front-and-back template, so each card may feature an image field, clearly styled headings, and space for extra notes or references.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Read each book, identify the test-worthy ideas, definitions, examples, and any image that strengthens recall.
• Create a consistent tagging scheme so that I can filter by book, chapter, and topic inside Anki.
• Design (and supply) a reusable card template that fits my preferred layout, then populate it with all content.
• Deliver the finished deck as an .apkg file ready for import, plus a brief log that maps sources to card ranges so I can trace anything back to its page.

A good grasp of Anki’s note types, fields, and media handling is essential, and you’ll probably lean on OCR or AnkiConnect to move faster. Accuracy matters more than speed: every image must display correctly, and no text should be truncated or mis-formatted. Once the first book is complete, I’ll review a sample to confirm the style before you proceed with the rest.
