Please read below and understand we will delete all the autopost that happen the first 10-15 minutes.
Looking for a strong editor for one flagship BMX museum walkthrough. About 15 minutes of raw, already shot. The collection inside the building, then the track outside. Full pass from arrival through the catalog and out to the track.
The footage is good. The job is a finished video, not an assembly. Clean, professional, and stylized enough to publish and to send to partners. Not a graphics package.
Pacing, entries, and control of the camera moves.
What the edit needs:
Research first. Look at high-view museum and BMX collection walkthroughs and borrow what actually holds attention: how long they hold on a bike, how they enter a building, how they reset between displays. A short note on what you would steal is part of the bid.
Open with a fast intro, 4 to 6 seconds. Various shots and fadeaways from inside the museum, cut to grab attention.
No logo card, no subscribe sting. Then drop into the walk up to the building, with talk over it saying we are walking into the museum. Exterior stills are available if that beat needs a frame the camera did not hold.
More direction on that open, and on a few other beats, comes with the files. It does not belong in this post.
Transitions between the catalog collection and the track. These are separate places, and the cut has to travel between them.
A stylized transition into each vignette, meaning each small display where a bicycle is the subject. Slow those holds enough to actually see the bike. A few pans are too fast. Slow only those, about 50–70 percent, optical flow if your software does it cleanly. Do not slow the whole video.
Remove all background music. None in the final. The 4 to 6 second open is cut on the pictures, not on a music bed.
Keep the live sound that makes it feel real. The catalog area stays. The talk out at the track, where the layout is explained, stays. Other narration stays or goes by my marks. I will send a timestamp list with the files.
Light cleanup on the kept talk only. Noise reduction and level match. No music bed under it.
No end screen, no subscribe card. I add those. Lower-thirds only if a name is clearly said and worth a label.
This needs to come back 100 percent finished. Not a rough cut I have to rebuild.
Deliver:
4K H.264, 16:9, publish-ready, no music
Two revision rounds included. A third is quoted before you start it.
Files, exterior stills, and the keep/cut list go out after award, via Google Drive or WeTransfer.
Who this fits:
Native English. Based in the US or Canada is strongly preferred. More footage is already shot in both, and this can turn into ongoing work if the first cut is right.
Action sports is a real asset. BMX or mountain bikes is better. You should know when to hold on a bike and when a pan is too fast.
Bid with one walkthrough, interview, or action-sports cut you edited, your software, your timezone, and your location. Template bids will be declined; AI Declined. Instant Responses Declined.
Budget is variable and not large. Send one number for the finished video above, with both revisions included, and say what a third round would cost.
Confidential. Do not post, share, or use this footage or the cut in a reel, portfolio, or social post. Not during the job and not after. The edit and the project file are assigned to me on final payment. You supply no music and no stock.
