I have a legacy Bitcoin Core hash (PBKDF2-SHA512 + AES-256-CBC, 72,580 iterations, extracted March 2009) and I’d like you to attack it with your own tool-chain. You will receive nothing except the single $bitcoin$64$… string, so all dictionaries, masks and custom rules must come from your side.
Your profile should show at least moderate experience recovering passwords on GPU hardware. Because the hash is computationally heavy, access to an RTX 4090 is essential, and I’ll rely on your skill with custom rule-based and mask attacks in Hashcat to make the most of that card.
The job is outcome-driven: I’m open to a success-fee or staged milestones—tell me which you prefer. When you apply, include your benchmark speed for PBKDF2-SHA512 on the 4090 and outline the attack strategy you plan to run (no need to reveal wordlists themselves).
Deliverables
• Any recovered passphrase, returned securely
• A short write-up of the attack vectors that proved effective, so I can understand what worked
If this matches your capabilities, let’s discuss timelines and the exact fee structure.
