We are a Montréal construction and renovation company looking for a talented **UI/UX web designer with strong Wix/Wix Studio experience** to completely redesign and restructure our existing website.

The website already exists. We have branding, content and some project photography, but the current site lacks consistency, strong narrative and a smooth user experience.

We want something much simpler, more sophisticated and more memorable.

Our objective:

**Simple structure + strong art direction + excellent typography + clear narrative + smooth UX.**

We do NOT want a complicated website with unnecessary pages, custom coding or excessive animation.

## CORE CONCEPT

The company serves two audiences:

**RESIDENTIAL** — homeowners looking for renovations, additions and transformations.

**COMMERCIAL** — businesses, developers and property owners looking for construction, renovation and project-management capabilities.

This is **ONE website and ONE brand**, but Residential and Commercial should offer two different experiences.

### Main Landing Page

The main landing page should be extremely simple and brand-focused.

Conceptually:

**COMPANY GROUP**
Construction & Renovation — Montréal

**RESIDENTIAL →**
**COMMERCIAL →**

The designer determines the visual execution.

We want confidence, simplicity and a premium first impression.

## RESIDENTIAL

Residential should feel warm, aspirational, genuine and refined.

We do NOT want another generic contractor website simply organized as:

“Services / Kitchens / Bathrooms / Basements / About Us / Why Choose Us.”

We would like to explore something more customer-oriented.

One possible concept:

**What would you like to change?**

**More space**
Extensions / basements

**One important room**
Kitchens / bathrooms

**The whole home**
Complete renovations / project management

**A fresh start**
Painting / flooring / finishing

This is a strategic direction, NOT a finalized design. We want the designer to transform this idea into an elegant and intuitive experience.

Originality should come from **good thinking, typography, spacing and composition**, not expensive technical effects.

## COMMERCIAL

Commercial should feel different: cleaner, more direct and highly professional.

It should emphasize:

* Construction capabilities
* Project management
* Planning and coordination
* Reliability
* Budget/schedule control
* Credentials
* Selected work

We prefer one strong Commercial experience rather than numerous service pages.

## KEEP THE WEBSITE SMALL

This is important.

Our preliminary structure is approximately:

* Main Landing
* Residential
* Commercial
* Contact
* Possibly Projects if justified

Services, selected projects, company information and approach can potentially exist within these pages.

We do not want pages created simply because other construction companies have them.

## COMPLETELY BILINGUAL — FRENCH FIRST

The entire website must be professionally bilingual:

**French + English**

**French must be the DEFAULT language.**

Visitors must have a clearly visible **FR / EN** selector.

The English experience must be complete — no pages mixing French and English.

Navigation, buttons, forms, confirmation messages and relevant SEO information must respect the selected language.

## PHOTOGRAPHY

We currently have a limited library of professional project photography.

The design must therefore NOT depend on dozens of photographs.

Real projects must be used when work is presented as our own.

Licensed stock or carefully generated conceptual/atmospheric imagery may supplement the site when appropriate, but must never be presented as completed company projects.

## DESIGN REFERENCES

These are references, NOT websites to copy.

**OVI Construction**
https://www.constructionovi.com/

We like its confidence, typography, whitespace, branding and premium perception. We do not necessarily need its level of complex animation.

**Groupe Manovra**
https://www.groupemanovra.com/

Very important reference. We like its simplicity, clean structure, commercial professionalism and ability to feel sophisticated without being technically complicated.

**VK Group**
https://fr.vkgroup.ca/

We like some of its aspirational residential atmosphere, but NOT the excessive pages, long repetitive text or content-heavy structure.

Our general direction:

**OVI's confidence + Manovra's simplicity + selective aspirational residential imagery.**

## PROJECT PROCESS

### 1. UX / Structure

Review the existing website and work with us to finalize sitemap, navigation, Residential/Commercial journeys and content hierarchy.

We already have a strategic framework. We are not looking for an expensive branding exercise.

### 2. Figma

Design the new visual direction in Figma for desktop and mobile.

**The design must be approved BEFORE full Wix implementation begins.**

Approved designs should not be significantly changed during implementation without discussion.

### 3. Wix / Wix Studio

Implement the approved design on our existing Wix website.

The final website must be responsive, mobile-friendly, fast and easy for us to maintain ourselves.

### 4. Bilingual Setup

Implement and verify the complete French and English versions.

French = default.
English = selectable.

### 5. Contact Form + Lead Notifications

This is REQUIRED.

When a potential client submits a form:

* Submission must be stored correctly.
* We receive an immediate email.
* We receive an immediate phone notification.
* Ideally, we receive an SMS/text notification.
* If SMS requires a paid service, propose the simplest/lowest-cost reliable solution and disclose recurring costs BEFORE implementation.
* Customer information should be stored in Wix Contacts/CRM.
* Customer receives a professional confirmation in their selected language.
* Basic spam protection is configured.
* Everything is tested on desktop and mobile.

The workflow must work:

**Customer submits → Lead stored → Company notified immediately → Customer receives confirmation.**

### 6. QA

Final testing must include:

* Desktop/mobile/tablet
* French/English
* Navigation
* Forms and automations
* Links and contact information
* Typography/spacing
* Basic SEO
* Redirects from removed pages where required
* No placeholder or broken content

## BUDGET

**Open to proposals.**

Please provide a **fixed-price quote broken down by milestones** and disclose any recurring software/app costs.

We prefer investing in **good design and implementation** rather than unnecessary functionality.

## TO APPLY

Please provide:

1. Your **3 most relevant websites only**
2. Figma/UI/UX examples
3. Wix/Wix Studio experience
4. Responsive/mobile examples
5. Multilingual website experience
6. Wix Forms/CRM/automation experience
7. Your proposed approach
8. Timeline
9. Fixed-price quote by milestone
10. Any recurring costs

We are primarily looking for a **strong designer who is also highly competent in Wix/Wix Studio**, not simply a developer who occasionally designs.

Generic proposals will not be considered.

**To confirm you read the brief, begin your proposal with: “RESIDENTIAL / COMMERCIAL”.**

The final result should feel:

**Simple. Premium. Modern. Genuine. Professional.**

Residential visitors should feel inspired and confident.

Commercial visitors should see a capable, organized and reliable construction company.

And when either visitor contacts us, **we should know immediately.**
