Bilingual Medical Receptionist (AdvancedMD | English & Spanish)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM CT

About the Role
We are hiring a Bilingual Medical Receptionist to support a U.S.-based pain management clinic. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working in a medical office and is highly comfortable using AdvancedMD. Strong communication skills and professional English and Spanish communication are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Answer and manage inbound patient calls professionally and efficiently
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
Complete new patient intake and collect required information
Verify patient insurance and eligibility
Process and follow up on medication prior authorizations
Communicate with pharmacies regarding medication-related inquiries and follow-ups
Manage incoming and outgoing faxes
Respond to patient questions and provide appropriate assistance
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Support daily front-desk and administrative operations
Communicate effectively with patients in both English and Spanish
Requirements
Previous medical office experience – required
Hands-on AdvancedMD experience – required
Bilingual in English and Spanish
Clear, professional Spanish communication and strong verbal communication skills
Experience with patient scheduling, insurance verification, and new patient intake
Experience handling medication prior authorizations and pharmacy follow-ups
Comfortable managing fax communications and patient documentation
Experience with FreedomVoice is preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced medical environment
Professional, patient-focused, and reliable
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a pain management, specialty, or similar medical practice
Experience using FreedomVoice
Familiarity with medication authorization workflows and pharmacy communication

We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage front-desk responsibilities, communicate effectively with Spanish- and English-speaking patients, and work independently within a U.S. medical practice environment. The right candidate should already be comfortable with AdvancedMD and have hands-on medical office experience.
