I am preparing to bring a new iron-ore beneficiation line online and want an experienced consultant to guide me through every stage of equipment installation. The priority is detailed, step-by-step supervision for project execution and equipment placement—everything from unloading the machinery to final alignment, levelling, grouting and cold-run testing.
The plant is already partially built, so the assignment also touches on revising the existing layout where necessary, validating all P&ID drawings against site conditions, and making sure the pipeline routing, electrical and instrumentation interfaces and safety clearances are correct before we energise anything.
You will work closely with my in-house mechanical, civil and E&I teams, issue daily checklists, and intervene whenever contractors drift from the approved methodology. AutoCAD (or similar) for quick layout tweaks, MS Project (or equivalent) for scheduling, and solid familiarity with OEM manuals for crushers, screens, thickeners, pumps and conveyors are essential.
Key deliverables
• An installation supervision plan broken into logical, time-bound steps
• Daily or shift-wise inspection & commissioning checklists signed off by our supervisors
• Updated “as-built” equipment layout drawings reflecting any on-site modifications
• Final commissioning report confirming performance against design parameters and outlining a preventive maintenance and O&M schedule for the first year
Acceptance criteria: Every item in the OEM installation guideline must be signed off, no snag lists may remain open at handover, and the plant must hit its nameplate capacity during the performance run. If this scope matches your expertise and availability, I look forward to your proposal detailing relevant project experience and how you would approach the on-site supervision workflow.
