Beginner Inkscape Lessons Needed

I’m starting completely from scratch with Inkscape and need someone who can walk me through the basics all the way to producing clean, ready-to-use files for printing or cutting. My first goal is to create designs suitable for wooden engraving, so I’ll need guidance on vector fundamentals, path operations, proper use of layers, and exporting in the right format for a laser or CNC machine.

Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
• Short, live screen-share sessions where you explain and then watch me replicate each step.
• Simple practice projects that build toward a finished wooden-engraving design.
• Clear, written reference notes or recorded clips after each lesson so I can review on my own.

Acceptance criteria
• By the end of our sessions I should be able to produce an SVG (or another agreed-upon vector format) that engraves cleanly with no stray nodes or doubled lines.
• I want at least one completed wooden-engraving file entirely created by me under your guidance.

If you’re patient with complete beginners and comfortable teaching everything from how to set up a workspace to advanced path manipulation, I’d love to hear how you’d structure the lessons and a rough timeline for getting me up to speed.
