Backend Developer (NestJS / AWS)

We’re hiring backend developers to build a multi-module operating system for an architecture & interior design studio—Sales CRM, AI-assisted site visits, design-gate workflows, project management, and operations.

You’ll work on

NestJS (TypeScript) APIs, domain modules, and workflow/state machines
PostgreSQL data models, RBAC, audit trails, and document metadata
Async jobs (SQS): notifications, reminders, AI site-visit report generation
AWS: ECS/Fargate, RDS, S3, Cognito, SES, Redis
Integrations (LLM/Bedrock, email) and solid API contracts for the Next.js frontend
What we expect

Strong Node.js / TypeScript and REST API design
Hands-on PostgreSQL, auth/RBAC, and production debugging
Comfort with AWS (or equivalent cloud) and CI/CD
Clear communication, ownership of features end-to-end, and quality under phased delivery
Nice to have: NestJS, queue/worker patterns, file/upload pipelines, LLM/API integrations.

Setup: Pair with 1 other backend + 2 frontend · PM-led phased delivery · ~7–9 month build.
