I have two freshly-built backend sites along with a tablet app for a new venture, all generated with ChatGPT. I have live date being used now twitch as Microsip on my computer a test phone and tablets. Before we push anything to a real site, I want a second set of expert eyes to walk through the full startup checklist, verify that every critical component is behaving as expected, correct any code issues on the spot, and suggest meaningful improvements.
Scope of the review
• Functionality of SIP Calling – confirm calls connect reliably, audio is clear, and error handling covers edge cases.
• GitHub repository integrity – inspect branch structure, commit history, and CI/CD actions so we can maintain a clean, future-proof workflow.
• Signalwire and Resend program integration – test authentication, message delivery, and fallback logic across both sites.
• General startup checklist items – tick off security hardening, environment variables, logging, and anything else you notice that a production-ready backend should include.
What you’ll actually do
1. Clone the private GitHub repo, spin up both sites locally (Docker or native setup—your choice), and work through each checklist item while keeping brief, clear notes.
2. Commit and push code changes for any fixes or refactors you make; use pull requests so I can follow along.
3. Produce a concise recommendations report outlining further optimizations, tech-debt hotspots, or alternative approaches I should consider.
Why this matters
I’m at an intermediate level with these tools, so feel free to annotate your commits or add comments that will teach me best practices as we go. Your insight will shape the technical foundation of the business, and a clean handover is essential.
Acceptance criteria
• All checklist items verified with pass/fail status and supporting notes.
• Functional fixes merged into the main branch with green CI.
• A recommendations document (Markdown is fine) covering architecture, security, and performance opportunities.
Tech in play: Node/Express codebase, Git/GitHub flow, SignalWire API, Resend email service, SIP protocols, and basic Docker tooling if preferred.
