We are looking for an experienced Windows Server / IIS / Azure specialist to configure an existing Azure Virtual Machine for a production web application stack.
We already have an active Azure account and the VM is provisioned. Your role will be to complete the server setup cleanly, securely, and in a production-ready state. You will work closely with our lead developer, who will provide guidance, credentials, and real-time assistance throughout the process.
### Scope of Work
On the provided Azure Windows VM you will:
- Install and configure **IIS** to host a **.NET 7 Web API** as the primary (root) site.
- Configure the same IIS website to also serve a **React client application** on port **8080**.
- Enable free HTTPS using a trusted certificate (Let’s Encrypt) via **win-acme** (the recommended free ACME client for Windows/IIS). Bind the certificate to the default Azure website / domain and set up automatic renewal.
- Create a dedicated SQL Server (MSSQL) login/user with the appropriate permissions that the .NET 7 application will use.
- Install **FFmpeg** system-wide (globally available in PATH) so it can be called by the application.
### What We Provide
- Fully provisioned Azure VM with remote access
- Azure portal access as needed
- Direct collaboration and support from the developer in charge
- Clear requirements and testing criteria
### Ideal Candidate
- Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server, IIS, and .NET application hosting
- Familiarity with Let’s Encrypt + win-acme on IIS
- Experience creating SQL Server users/logins and basic security hardening
- Comfortable working remotely with real-time developer support
This is a focused, short-term engagement. Once the environment is fully configured, tested, and handed over, the assignment is complete.
Please mention brief summary of similar Azure/IIS setups you have done.
If you red this post until here please start your replay with "I am Azure specialist....and continue".
Its few hours job and payment will be around 100USD.
Looking forward to working with you.
