DevOps & Azure Developer Required – Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD & Deployment
We are looking for an experienced DevOps & Azure Developer to join our team for an ongoing project. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, monitoring, and server management.
The role will involve setting up, managing, optimizing, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure and development/deployment environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure.
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.
Automate application build, deployment, and infrastructure processes.
Manage Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, databases, networking, and related services.
Configure and manage Docker containers and containerized deployments.
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
Set up monitoring, logging, alerts, and performance tracking using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, etc.
Manage environments such as Development, Staging, and Production.
Implement appropriate security, access control, secrets management, and backup strategies.
Troubleshoot deployment, infrastructure, networking, and performance-related issues.
Optimize Azure infrastructure for reliability, scalability, security, and cost.
Requirements:
Strong practical experience with Microsoft Azure.
Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
Good knowledge of Docker and container deployment.
Experience with Git and Git-based workflows.
Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows server administration.
Experience with Azure networking, DNS, SSL, firewalls, and security.
Experience with databases such as Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
Kubernetes / AKS experience.
Azure Functions and serverless architecture.
Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, or microservices.
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices.
Experience with automated testing and deployment workflows.
Experience working with Node.js, Python, .NET, React, or similar application stacks.

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the DevOps/Azure environment rather than simply follow instructions. You should be comfortable reviewing an existing setup, identifying issues, recommending improvements, and implementing solutions.
