We are looking for an experienced Embedded Hardware/PCB Design Engineer to design a custom, compact AIO avionics board for a sub-250 g light-show drone. The board will combine the flight-controller hardware and RTK-GNSS positioning system into a single lightweight PCB.
The engineer will be responsible for taking the hardware from requirements to a complete, manufacturing-ready PCB design, including component selection, system architecture, schematic design, PCB layout, and design-for-manufacturing.
Key requirements:
Strong embedded hardware and schematic design experience
Experience designing STM32H7-based hardware
Advanced multilayer PCB design using Altium Designer or KiCad
Experience with GNSS/RTK integration, RF layout and EMI/noise management
Strong BOM/component selection and DFM knowledge
UAV/flight-controller hardware experience is highly preferred
Expected deliverables: Complete system architecture, finalized BOM, schematic source files, PCB layout source files, Gerbers/ODB++, pick-and-place and manufacturing/assembly documentation.
Applicants who have previously designed flight controllers, UAV avionics, GNSS/RTK hardware or similar compact sensor-heavy embedded boards will be strongly preferred. Please include examples of relevant boards you have personally designed.
